• Both the filter paper and coffee grounds are suitable for home composting. 
• If your coffee takes longer than 3:00 minutes to brew, make your grind setting coarser; if it is less than 2:30 minutes, make your grind setting finer.  
• The Kalita is a versatile brewer that is great for experimentation. Subtle tweaks to grind, water temperature, bloom time and dosage can create notable flavour changes. 
• You can brew any coffee using the Kalita, but it has great capability in highlighting brightness, clarity, and more subtle flavour notes often found in light and medium roasted coffee. 
• Keep your pour gentle and consistent, a slow, even, circular pour helps maintain a level coffee bed for balanced extraction.
